ooooh where to begin!? wow...my last journal entry was in april, and man, things have happened!
well, the Nickelback concert back in May was awesome! i has a great time! i still have learned to skateboard...i need to get on that!! lol and i still havent posted pictures from the Skillet concert last november! i need to do that!! i got a haircut! yay! its super short, and the way i wanted it for like 2 years now, but never did! lol and i love it! and i've also done a lot of shopping!
ok, now to the important things!lol well im still anxiously waiting for the new Anberlin cd. LESS THAN A MONTH LEFT!! WOOT! which brings me to the next exciting news: IM GOING TO SEE ANBERLIN!!!!!! they will be touring this fall, and they are coming to washington, and im gonna be there!!! i have been wanting to see them for so long, and now its happening! lol! ok...calm. well this saturday is warped tour! im super excited to go back. it was such an amazing and life-changing [literally] experience, and im happy to be apart of it again! also, i won tickets for this year too! how awesome is that!! lol
and...to the best part of my summer... i've found what i've searched for so long. Not once on my way to Portland did i think that i was on my way to meet someone so amazing. But from the instant i got there, eyes met. At first, i considered it nothing, but then i saw his smile, the smile he gave me, and i knew this was something. The way he looked at me, the way he talked to me, the clear want and need he had to get to me. We were strangers to each other, and yet, we knew this was it.
One week in Portland, and life finally came together. In that one week, i became closer with friends. I stopped hurting over Erik. I went at least a day without thinking of Cristian for the first time in 2 years. And i learned, that God truly does provide. I was provided with someone who makes me happy, who knows me, who makes me feel beautiful...someone who has given me the last piece i needed to really have reason to lfe.

The things i have searched and wanted all along finally came to me, and i see that the struggle and pain im my past was all worth. It has brought to this point in life, where it all feels right now. Life is finally good.
